Recap: How to Run Your Startup
4 MINUTE READ
February 3, 2017

By: Ashley Hoye

To be successful, a new startup must use its resources wisely.

We have the full video recap and a few selected highlights from “How to Run Your Startup,” a moderated discussion with Ray Crowell and Melissa Perri as part of the GIST Guru series.

This presentation can help you determine the most efficient use of resources. There are two frameworks entrepreneurs can use to help them: The Lean Methodology and the Agile Approach.

Learn how these frameworks can help you answer such questions as: Should I build this new product or service? Will I be able to make money with this product?  How do I prioritize tasks?  In this program the two presenters Ray and Melissa, explain what these frameworks are and how they can help you make strategic decisions for your startup.

Here are some of our favorite highlights from the presentation:

Why Startups Should Look at Lean as a Mindset Versus a Tool or Process (3:16 minutes)

What’s the Difference Between a Startup and a Business? (4:03 minutes)

How Do You Know If You Can Launch a Startup? (4:13 minutes)
