You’ve Got a (True or False) Message

When I was young and I was studying English, one of my favorite exercises was the “True or False.” Finding out if the information presented was real or not was something that I loved. I had to check what was presented, the context, etc. Although I don’t take English classes anymore, I have the feeling I’m doing this exercise every day.

The Importance of Media Literacy

Media literacy, put simply, is the ability to identify different types of media and the messages they are sending. When we speak of media, it encompasses print media, such as newspapers, magazines and posters, and theatrical presentations, tweets, radio broadcasts, etc. Being able to understand these various forms of information with an ability to make sense of what is presented is key.
